Current Projects

My work falls generally into the personal/professional development or leadership genre, but I'm a naturally curious person and will go where my mind takes me, integrating humor and unique observations along the way. My active projects include:

1-2-3 For a Better Life (Working Title)

The simplest, easiest approach to making your life immediately more successful and more rewarding.

Leadershit (Working Title)

A leadership book for those who have struggled to find a resource that speaks to them. Like life, a good leadership book should surprise you and make you laugh.

Can't We All Get Along? (Working Title)

The world seems more divided than ever before, but we still have far more in common than we think.

More Good Stuff

My purpose in life is to make people think, to make people laugh, and to create a sense that things will be ok. I do that by practicing curiosity and kindness. That approach has helped me build an amazing career as a leader and financial services executive.

But aside from that, here are some other important things to know about me:

  • I’m a self-described keen observer of the stupid and absurd – I don't miss odd or unusual things, and I spend a lot of time thinking about them

  • I own five square feet of land in Scotland, which technically gives me the legal title of Lord – but I don’t make most people call me that

  • Watching an historical documentary, a Master Class video, and an episode of Love is Blind is a normal evening for me

  • Tara Reid thinks I own two zoos (it’s a long story)

  • My favorite sport is English Premier League football (soccer)

  • Sadly, I’m also a Minnesota Vikings Fan

  • Odd numbers make me uncomfortable – all digital displays in my house (volume, etc.) are set to an even number

  • McRib is the greatest fast-food sandwich of all time, and if you don’t agree we can’t be friends
